What do I want from a political party in government?

  • A commitment to expel from the party immediately any member who advocates participation in military action that does not directly defend the UK’s own borders;
  • A commitment to require any call for military participation in overseas conflict to be the subject of a full plebiscite/referendum;
  • A commitment to enable the public to participate securely in elections and major voting issues online, as well as by post and established polling stations;
  • A commitment to ensure that the repeal of any law, no matter when enacted, must be agreed via a full plebiscite of the nation within the UK to which that law pertains;
  • A commitment to seize and offer for sale by auction any dwelling or other property that has stood empty for a full period of six calendar months or more;
  • A commitment to expel from the party immediately any member who advocates measures designed and intended to reduce the quality of life/living standards of any member of the electorate;
  • A commitment to expel from the party immediately any member who refuses to hold a failing government department to account;
  • A commitment to expel from the party immediately any member who accepts funding from a foreign government, whether directly or not, and who then acts to further the interests of that foreign nation at the expense of our own;
  • A commitment to expel from the party immediately any member who acts to undermine this country’s democratic process;
  • A commitment to expel from the party immediately any member who refuses to act to ensure the viability of the environment for future generations;
  • A commitment to expel from the party immediately any member who acts to place ideology above the common good;
  • A commitment to expel from the party and immediately prosecute any member who commits a criminal act of any kind;
  • A commitment to seek out and prosecute any person or persons who have acted in any manner whatsoever, including via falsified information or downright incompetence, to cause the death or injury of any member of the electorate;
  • A commitment to seek out and prosecute any person or persons who have acted in any manner whatsoever, including via the dissemination of and/or concealment of information/evidence, to injure or otherwise corrupt a child.

I would call such a party the British Accountability Party because I am sick and tired of the snake-oil vendors that we have on all sides at this time and I want to see real change to the system so that the government becomes, once again, the servant of the people and not our master.

If we’re ever going to have a British Accountability Party (BAP) then let’s get the fillings list right before we begin.
