Filmed in the Summer of 1990 at Durdle Door and released for Christmas in November 1990 who was there for the filming? What can you remember of the day?

A couple of local people remember it well:

Yes I remember when it was filmed. Notices went up on the telegraph poles to go down to Durdle Door wearing scarves and hats and gloves……it was a really hot summers day. So a load of us collected the children from school and headed off to Durdle Door and took part in it! We saw Cliff being dropped from a helicopter onto the arch. Loads and loads of people were there.’

Another local Dawn remembers: ‘It really was a hot day and so many people. My sister and I are stood right at the front of the video I’m looking incredibly cheerful ….(sulky 12 year old haha).’
