Wimborne Comedy Club returns for Nov 2015

WIMBORNE COMEDY CLUB – another riotous night of comedy at Wimborne Town FC !
Full bar service, large car park (persuade your best pal to be the designated driver!) and four great comedians to ensure a night full of laughter. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start – get there early to grab a good seat.

With Tom Glover as our opening act we’re sure to get a good start – following in the footsteps of the UK’s finest comedy talent, Tom has been growing in the dark depths of the South West where he is a regular MC and headliner. This plucky 27-year-old has developed a knack of winning over any crowd with his tales of life on the outside and his observations on the everyday (if that’s not your thing he also does funny accents and pulls silly faces).

Our two brilliant middle acts are Mat Costin, who started late on the comedy circuit due to laziness and a fear of microphones (he has been known to shout) and Wayne Shakespeare who the Daily Echo describes as an”Outrageous comedian and magician” – he is truly a manipulator of all sorts (not the liquorice ones).

As our headliner – and we’re lucky to catch him as he ascends his way up the comedy rankings –  is the wonderful and slightly strange Phil Jerrod. Generously bearded and in the onset of early middle-age he gives the impression of a Tasmanian Devil from the English countryside – his left-turns and unflawed construction of his own world is compulsive.

All this hosted badly by local compulsive liar Richard Jay – what more could you want?

Tickets £10 in advance or £12 if available on the day from Square Records, Wimborne Town FC or online via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wimborne-comedy-club-tickets-19128063553
