Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a road traffic collision near Sherborne.

At around 10.55am on Sunday 22 May 2022 a collision occurred involving a black Range Rover SVR and a white Toyota Aygo on the A352 south of Middlemarsh. It is reported that the Range Rover left the carriageway.

The male driver of the Range Rover sustained cuts and bruises and his female passenger attended hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.

The occupants of the Toyota all sustained minor injuries.

The road was closed to allow emergency services to safely deal with the incident. The vehicles were recovered and the road reopened at around 2.25pm.

Police Constable Clare Gillard, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision itself, or events leading up to it, to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
