Officers are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify following a sexual assault in Bournemouth.

At around 12.40am on Tuesday 31 October 2023, a young woman was walking in the area of Horseshoe Common toward Madeira Road when she was approached by an unknown man.

It is reported that the man kissed the victim on the neck and cheek a number of times, before she pushed him off and left the area.

Police Constable Oliver Duell, of Bournemouth police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this incident and I have now obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to speak to.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55230172536. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
