Officers are issuing a CCTV image of a woman they would like to identify following a theft and assault on two shop workers in Poole.

At approximately 6.45pm on Wednesday 10 August 2022 a woman entered Asda in Culliford Crescent and concealed a number of items into her bag.

The woman went to the tills and paid for one item, but did not pay for everything in her bag.

A member of staff confronted the woman as she attempted to leave. She became aggressive toward him and assaulted two staff members.

One of the victims sustained bruising and scratching to his chest.

Police Constable Angelika Dworczak, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of my enquiries I have obtained a CCTV image of a woman I would like to identify and I would urge anyone who recognises her to please come forward.”
