Officers are issuing CCTV images of a woman they would like to identify as they investigate a hate crime in Christchurch.

At around 5.10pm on Monday 23 October 2023, two women entered the Nisa convenience store in Stanpit Road. It is reported that a member of the staff believed one of the women shoplifted an item from the store and challenged the woman outside the shop when the second woman shouted racial abuse.

Police Constable Susannah Justice, of Bournemouth police, said: “Dorset Police takes all reports of hate crime very seriously and we are conducting a number of enquiries to identify the woman responsible.

“I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of a woman I would like to identify as part of our investigation, and I would urge anyone who recognises her to please contact us.”
