Officers investigating a spitting assault incident in Poole are issuing an image of the suspect.

At around 5.30pm on Friday 15 February 2019 an incident occurred in Sea Road at the junction with Croft Road when the victim, a local woman, was approached a man who spat at her, making contact.

Police Constable Gemma Thomas, of Dorset Police, said: “This was an unpleasant assault. As part of my investigation I am now in possession of a photo of the suspect. While I appreciate the quality of the image is not very good, I am releasing it in the hope that someone may recognise this man. I would ask anyone who knows of his identity to please contact Dorset Police.”
