I am very pleased to say that since Mollie Bruce shared this on Facebook and Dorset Eye published it I can now update you. Not only has the areas featured in the photos been cleared of rubbish but the fly tipping in jubilee sidings have been cleared and the pink gas cylinder is not longer a hazard. Can we recommend taking photos and sharing them on Twitter and Facebook as this has all happened in a couple of days. Will keep sharing photos of any rubbish we find. This is the area by Alexander Bridge taken yesterday (2/2/17).

It’s good news week not only has these areas that have been cleaned but unfortunately it could be at the cost of the homeless people sleeping under the bridge. Hope that they have been moved onto somewhere warm and dry.

We have also encouraged someone to clear all the fly tipping in the area. Only took and shared the photos yesterday on Facebook page. Today it’s looking all spruced up, although not sure where the butterflies and bees will feed as they took the buddliea bushes as well. So taken more photos today. Been over to the RSPB Radipole to photograph the poo trees reported there. Meet the lovely people who work there. Today they only found two empty poo bags. We did discuss the lack of bins from the Granby to town and they agree a lot of the litter problems could be solved by more bins. Anyone know who we need to talk to?
