Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault on a teenage boy in Weymouth.

At around 10pm on Friday 8 March 2024 the victim, aged 15, was near to the junction with Queen Street and Hardwick Street when he saw two men. Following a brief verbal exchange, one of the men punched the victim to the nose and then to the side of the head.

The boy was subsequently received hospital treatment for a possible broken nose.

Police Constable Rory Swinden, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this matter, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.”
