17 year old sexually assaulted in Corfe Mullen

Officers investigating a report of sexual assault on a teenager in Corfe Mullen are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Between 4.45pm and 5pm on Thursday 14 September 2023 a 17-year-old girl was walking on a public footpath in the woodland between Springdale Road and Corfe Lodge Road when she was approached by a man, who reportedly grabbed her and attempted to kiss her.

The victim said she was going to call the police and the man reportedly fled the scene in the direction of the Springdale Road car park.

He is described as white, aged in his early 20s and with dark curly hair. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood down and dark blue jeans.

Police Constable Christopher Windows, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this incident and I am keen to speak to any witnesses, or anyone with information that might assist our investigation.

“I would be particularly keen to speak to any motorists who were in the car park at the time and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
