A little Christmas spirit arrives at Kingfisher children’s ward at Dorset County Hospital

Dorset County Hospital’s Kingfisher ward was full of Christmas Spirit when they took delivery of a very special Christmas present from Trinity Street Christmas Trees on Saturday 5th December. A beautiful Nordman fir with lights, reindeer and a snowman. Pete Hyde the owner, founder of Trinity Street Christmas Trees and father of two girls was so taken with the staff and their passion for care that he decided to make the Kingfisher ward his chosen cause for this year’s donation drive for Trinity Street Christmas Trees.

Peter Hyde says “My family is the most important thing to me and seeing the amazing work the team do here at the Kingfisher Ward, I had to make them my cause for this year.”

Peter Hyde continues “Each year I choose an organisation to donate a tree too, when I was approached about the Kingfisher Ward, I thought it would be the perfect place to add some Christmas cheer, with a tree and a friendly reindeer and snowman”

Sister Caroline Simkin says “We are very grateful that local people think about us here, the children will love the tree and its little helpers. We would like to say a big thank you to Trinity Street Christmas Trees for the tree it’s very kind of them.”
