In an article dated 15th March 2025 (the article), one of our contributors made a number of allegations about Mr. Jim Davidson.
We unreservedly withdraw all imputations made upon the character and conduct of Mr. Davidson in the article.
We acknowledge that there was no foundation for any of the allegations and sincerely apologise to him for the embarrassment and distress caused to him by the publication of the article.
Mr. Davidson has kindly agreed to forego a claim for substantial damages arising from the publication of the article.
We have agreed to make payment of Mr. Davidson’s legal costs.
