Officers investigating two commercial burglaries in Poole are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A break-in occurred at around 5.10am on Wednesday 24 March 2021 at Cyclefix in Ashley Road. Glass in the front door was smashed to gain access but it is not believed anything was stolen from the premises.

The male offender is reported to have cycled away from the scene toward Branksome.

It is believed the same man may be responsible for a further break-in at Clearway Pools in Ashley Road that occurred between 9.30am on Tuesday 23 March and 9.30am on Wednesday 24 March 2021. Entry was forced to the premises and a quantity of cash was stolen.

Police Constable Jade Harper, of Poole police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into these incidents, including a review of CCTV footage in the area and examination of the crime scenes.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around the relevant times or who has any information that might assist our enquiries to please get in touch.”
