Detectives investigating the death of a woman at her home in Bournemouth are appealing for anyone with information or recent sightings of her to come forward.

Dorset Police was called at 3.04pm on Tuesday 5 November 2019 to a report that a woman had been found unresponsive at an address in Windham Road in Bournemouth.

Officers attended the scene along with the ambulance service and it was confirmed that the woman, 70-year-old Susanne Gunner, had sadly died. Her next of kin has been informed.

A post-mortem examination took place on Thursday 7 November 2019, however, the cause of death remains undetermined pending further tests.

Detectives are satisfied that there is nothing to indicate the cause of her death is suspicious at this stage, however, enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances and determine the movements of the woman who died in the days leading up to her body being found.

Detective Inspector Wayne Seymour, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident and we have so far not had any recent sightings of Susanne who sadly died in the days before she was found.

“I would urge anyone who saw her or witnessed any activity at the address and has not already spoken to police to please contact us.”
