Officers investigating a robbery in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that at around 3am on Thursday 13 February 2020 a man was approached by three men and assaulted in the area of the Fountain Way roundabout. They also stole his phone and £20 cash.

The victim – aged in his 20s – sustained a fractured ankle and bruising to his legs, arms and upper body. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police Constable Jim Perks, of Christchurch police, said: “We believe that the victim may have met the three men earlier in the night on Wednesday 12 February at Cameron’s Club and Lounge.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or have information about who was responsible, to please get in touch.”
