Officers searching for a man who has gone missing from Christchurch are asking for help from the public in trying to find him.

David Munisamy, who is 48 years old, was reported missing at 10.55am on Saturday 24 August 2019 after he left in his car, a blue Saab with the registration RK08 OBA, about an hour earlier.

He is described as five feet eleven inches tall, of stocky build and with tanned skin. He is bald and has no facial hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing a dark tracksuit.

Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “We believe David is very upset and unwell and are therefore concerned for his welfare.

“Officers are making a number of enquiries in an effort to find him, but as he has driven off in his car he could have already travelled some distance and we need the public’s help to locate him.

“I am hoping somebody may have seen David or his car today, which might help us in our search.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to David’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 24:181.
