The incident happened at around 7pm on Sunday 22 April 2018 on High Street, outside Iceland.

The victim – a local man aged in his 20s – walked out of the store and was approached by an unknown man.

The unknown man then hit the victim on his bottom before laughing and walking off toward the Dolphin Centre.

The offender is described as white, aged in his 30s, five feet three inches tall with blond hair and stubble. He was wearing a green hat, grey jacket and blue jeans.

Police Constable Ben McSorley, of Poole police, said: “We have made a number of CCTV enquiries in order to identify the suspect, however the incident was not caught on camera and a man matching the description given was not located.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or knows who the man might be based on the description provided to please contact Dorset Police or call Crimestoppers anonymously.”
