If so and you are aged 14-19 and live in the BH postcode area then please come and join us at the

Bournemouth and the Poole Writing Squads.

The squads meet once a month at Poole Library 10.30 AM-12.30PM and Bournemouth Library at 2PM-4PM.

If you would like to join the squads or come along for a taster session then please email Bob Hill, the Writing Squad Leader, at [email protected]

The Writing Squads are free and are designed to help young writers in developing their skills in all forms and genres and to provide a support network of peers and professionals. Informal workshops, writing exercises and peer review will help the writer to explore their own potential and enhance their skills.

Writers will also have the opportunity to see their work published online and in print as well as entering national and international writing competitions.

Bob Hill is a published poet and author as well as a Lecturer in Creative Writing and English Literature.

The Writing Squads are run by the LitUp organisation and funded by Literature Works.
