Officers are issuing CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to after two people were assaulted outside a pub in Wimborne.

The victims, two men aged in their 20s, were waiting outside The Man in the Wall pub at around 11.55pm on Friday 14 August 2020 when they were involved in an altercation with another group of young men.

One of the victims was punched to the face, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head. He was taken to hospital for treatment to head and facial injuries.

The other victim was punched to the shoulder.

Police Constable Erin Hill, of East Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into these assaults and have obtained CCTV images of three men we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I appreciate they are not the best quality images, but I would urge anyone with information as to their identity to please come forward.

“I also understand there were a number of people in the area at the time of this incident and would urge anyone who witnessed it and has not already spoken to police to please contact us.”
