Brexit should destroy the Tory Party for ever. Farage left it to form UKIP and start the whole campaign, backed by Banks’ money and technology we still don’t fully understand. Cameron cooked up the referendum as a way of trying to settle the Tories’ intractable internal differences and stop the electoral threat of UKIP. He didn’t expect to lose. When he did, he resigned. Farage ‘won’ and immediately waddled off to LBC. Now Davis and Johnson have gone too.
