The Bishop of Sherborne, Graham Kings was invited to Weymouth College on Thursday 7thFebruary as part of his busy schedule of events including a visit to The Front Skatepark and The Lantern Resource Centre.

Graham met College Principal, Liz Myles for a chat, (sporting a Front Skatepark T-shirt!) before meeting with members of the chaplaincy team, Liz Evans and Joe Hobday and local Church Reverend Tim West.

He was able to learn about what the College chaplaincy offers to students such as support, a quiet area for prayer and reflection, counselling and religious studies. Weymouth College supports equality and diversity within the College and has just been accredited ‘Investors in Diversity’ Standard at Level 1.

Graham was then able to visit The Lantern Resource Centre on Ranelagh Road, Weymouth which offers counselling and advice services to members of the public.
