Dorset Police was called at 7.07am on Friday 14 August 2020 to a report that a body of a man had been found in the water off the coast of Portland Bill. Officers attended, along with HM Coastguard and the RNLI.

Enquiries are underway to locate the man’s next of kin.

The coroner has been notified.

Officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
