Officers investigating an incident of fraud by false representation are issuing a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to.

On Monday 27 January 2020 a woman reported that she had been a victim of fraud. She received numerous letters to her home address about a number of phone contracts that had been taken out in her name without her authorisation.

Following enquiries, it was established that a woman entered Carphone Warehouse at Wessex Gate Retail Park on Tuesday 14 January 2020 and took out a contract using the victim’s personal details.

Police Constable Phillip Pearson, of Poole police, said: “As part of our enquiries officers have obtained a CCTV image from Carphone Warehouse of someone we would like to speak to.

“I would urge anyone with information about the woman’s identity to please get in touch.”
