Officers investigating a sexual assault in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Some time between 1am and 1.30am on Friday 21 February 2020 a woman aged in her 20s was in Subway on Old Christchurch Road with her boyfriend and a friend. The woman was approached by two men, one of whom began making sexual comments toward her.

The man then went to buy a sandwich, but began to film the victim on his phone from across the shop. He then approached the victim from behind and forcibly grabbed her bottom. After a few seconds he let go and moved away.

Police Constable Russell Thomas, of Bournemouth police, said: “The victim was understandably left shaken by this incident and I am appealing to any witnesses or anyone with information to please contact us.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man from the CCTV.”
