Officers investigating a report of a sexual assault on a bus in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

The victim, a 15-year-old girl, was travelling on the M2 bus from Southbourne to The Triangle in Bournemouth town centre at around 4.30pm on Tuesday 26 November 2019. A man got on the bus and sat down next to her before touching her inappropriately on her leg over her clothing.

The woman left the bus at The Triangle and did not see whether the man also got off.

Police Constable Sam Perry, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and have been supporting the victim.

“As part of our enquiries, we have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I appreciate it is not the best quality image but would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
