Officers investigating the theft of a handbag and subsequent bank card use in Wimborne are issuing CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to.

At 2.30pm on Tuesday 19 November 2019 the rear windscreen of a vehicle was smashed in a car park on Abbott Street.

A handbag was stolen containing a mobile phone, a purse, bank cards, a quantity of cash and a pair of prescription sunglasses.

The bank cards were fraudulently used at a number of shops in the town centre a short time later.

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann, of Dorset Police, said: “Following enquiries I have obtained CCTV images of two men who are believed to have used the cards at one of the locations in Wimborne.

“I would urge anyone with information about their identity to please contact us.”
