Officers investigating a series of sexual assaults in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

Between 5.21pm and 5.27pm on Saturday 13 April 2019 two separate women were sexually assaulted by the same man at the Co-op petrol station on Castle Lane West. The suspect touched or smacked the victim’s bottoms and made lewd comments.

Between 5.30pm and 6pm the same day two further similar incidents were reported to have taken place in the Castlepoint area involving a man riding a bicycle.

The victims were aged between 18 and 40 years old.

Police Constable Chris Vaughan, of Bournemouth police, said: “Following enquiries we believe the same man was responsible for all four incidents. I am releasing two images of the suspect and I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.

“I would also ask anyone who was assaulted in this way in the relevant time period and location and has not yet reported it to please get in touch. It may be you have important information that could assist this investigation.

“Finally, officers from the local neighbourhood policing team can be approached by local residents with any concerns.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190055852. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
