Highlighting the subtleties and dramatic effects of light and dark in art, this illuminating exhibition by Poole & East Dorset Art Society (PEDAS) is entitled ‘CHIAROSCURO’ (C17: from the Italian, chiaroclear + oscuroobscure); at The Gallery Upstairs, Upton Country Park, Poole BH17 7BJ.

it runs from 20th March to 7th April, open daily 10.30 am – 4 pm. Free parking, full disabled access. www.pedas.org.uk
