A drop-in session will be held so residents, local groups and clubs can have their say about the future of the Marsh recreation area.

Please come along and have your say at the event, which will be held on 14 September from 4pm-7pm at STEPS Youth Club, 110 Chickerell Road, Weymouth.

Weymouth & Portland Borough Council is keen to hear the views of residents and local groups about the Marsh Recreation area in Weymouth. These views will help shape a Masterplan for the area, which is currently being drawn-up.

The drop-in consultation, which is being organised with the Friends of the Marsh, will discuss the future management of the site as a leisure, recreation, health and environmental facility. It will also look at how a new play and youth activity area could be developed. Some of the sports clubs that are active on The Marsh will also be there to talk about their activities.

The results of the consultation will be reported back to councillors in October.
