Poole Pride is Back for 2026

Poole Lighthouse is proud to present

POOLE PRIDE 2026

SATURDAY 6 JUNE

from 12 noon (Lighthouse)

Tickets and information: 01202 280000

www.lighthousepoole.co.uk

Poole Pride is back – bright, beautiful, and bursting with creativity in a joyful celebration of the beautiful identities that make up our community – on Saturday 6 June.

Join us from midday for a day of family friendly entertainment celebrating LGBTQ+ culture in the arts. Everyone is welcome – come as you are and dive into a day filled with colour, connection, and inclusive fun.

Alongside a vibrant lineup of cabaret, live music and drag performances, talks, a poetry slam, creative workshops, a silent disco and more, there are stalls to explore and fantastic local organisations championing and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. The programme in the outdoor theatre includes Jasmin Circus, Sing People Sing and Teddy Talks.

Entry operates on a pay‑what‑you‑feel basis, but tickets are essential. A ticket grants access to Poole Pride, with entry to individual events available on a first‑come, first‑served basis depending on venue capacity.

Performers include:

  • Lucid Cabaret

The Lucid Cabaret divas return to the Lighthouse stage to dazzle and delight at this year’s Poole Pride. With your favourite BCP drag artists and some brand-new local stars bringing not one but two cabarets over the course of the day, you’re in for a truly tantalising treat! Get down to The Sherling Studio to get your dose of Poole’s proudest performers!

  • Oliver Clothezoff

Say hello to Oliver Clothezoff, the charismatic drag king bringing fun, music and a little mischief to Poole Pride. Known for his upbeat, tongue-in-cheek style, Oliver is ready to fill the stage with big rockstar energy and plenty of feel-good moments.

  • Maddie Morris

Maddie Morris is a bold and socially conscious folk artist who uses traditional music to explore contemporary issues. Winner of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award, they have been described by Jim Moray as “leading the next generation of socially conscious songwriters.” Their work explores personal narratives and political storytelling, blending English folk traditions with their lived experience as a trans, autistic person.

  • Grace Savage

Passionately political yet gently understated, this is music that deftly treads the path between art and activism. Grace Savage is a multifaceted artist, a four times UK beatbox champion and creator of her own unique blend of electronic pop that has been heard on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 6 Music.

  • The Jam (Nova Promotions)

The Jam is Bournemouth’s first jam night focused on creating space for female and LGBTQ+ musicians. We think there are far too many spaces in which these musicians are overlooked or aren’t made to feel welcome which is why we wanted to create an event where everyone can feel comfortable getting up on stage.

  • Aureate (Creative Writing Workshop)

Aureate presents a creative writing workshop suitable for all styles, genres, and levels of expertise. You absolutely don’t need to call yourself a writer to attend! In this welcoming and fun hour-long session, we will use timed prompt exercises to help spark inspiration.

  • Diverse City (Performance Workshop)

Diverse City is a performing arts charity committed to equity. We believe in proper representation on stage, backstage and in the audience. We all deserve to see work that speaks to us. We make and tour bold, new, accessible shows nationwide. We nurture new creative voices and offer inclusive training in circus, dance, theatre and music.

Look out for children’s storytelling, the family-friendly silent disco, the Boardgame Café with 2 Rooms and a Boom, Zine Cuisine’s zine workshop, drag make up demo with Miss Venezeula D’Viña, a creative workshop featuring AUB Illustration students and a programme of talks including: Queer Magic – Trans & Queer Folktales & Myth (Thorn), Drag King History (Dandy Issues) and STARS from the Sexual Trauma and Recovery Service.
