Officers searching for missing Poole man Charles Murphy are pleased to confirm he has been located.

Charles was reported missing at 9.30pm on Saturday 12 October having last been seen at Poole Hospital.

Following searches and enquiries by officers, he has now been located in the Poole area.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

 

Officers searching for a missing Poole man are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Charles Murphy, aged 24, is understood to have visited Poole Hospital at around 6.30pm on Saturday 12 October. He has since left the hospital and has sent messages to a friend that raised concerns for his welfare.

He is described as white, five feet five inches tall and of slim build with dark brown hair. He is believed to have been wearing a dark grey jacket and dark trousers and was carrying a dark blue rucksack.

Chief Inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Charles’ welfare and are keen to locate him as soon as possible to make sure he is alright.

“We are carrying out searches and making a number of other enquries and I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Charles if you see this appeal to please make contact and let us know where you are so we can check that you are safe and well.”
