The Last Straw:

In a shocking turn of events, the Conservative Party is to be officially designated as a terrorist organisation by an unnamed governmental agency, plunging the political landscape into chaos. The decision, announced in a clandestine memo leaked to Dorset Eye, cites a litany of reasons, ranging from their ruthless policies to their relentless assault on reason itself.

The memo, which surfaced from the depths of bureaucratic secrecy, outlines the rationale behind this unprecedented move. It points to the Conservative Party’s systematic campaign of terror against the poor, the marginalised, Muslims, and anyone daring to have a dissenting opinion. It highlights their weaponisation of austerity, antisemitism, their relentless cuts to vital public services, and their callous disregard for the most vulnerable in society.

“It has become increasingly clear that the Conservative Party poses a grave threat to the fundamental principles of democracy and human decency,” the memo states. “Their policies have caused untold suffering, their rhetoric has fuelled division, and their actions have left a trail of devastation in their wake.”

The decision to label the Conservative Party as a terrorist organisation will hopefully send shockwaves through the political establishment. Conservative MPs, caught off guard by the announcement, will vehemently deny the accusations, and insist that they are simply “upholding traditional values” and “protecting the interests of hard-working families.”

However, critics will argue that the evidence against the Conservative Party is overwhelming. From their cozy relationships with big business to their disdain for environmental regulations, they have consistently prioritised profit over people, power over principles, and privilege over progress.

In response to the classification, it is expected that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will characteristically deny all, denouncing the decision as “fake news” and “a desperate smear campaign by decent people.” He will vow to fight the designation tooth and nail, declaring that the Conservative Party will never be cowed by the so called “decency brigade” or the “political correctness police,” who are too busy being moral and not spending enough time being complete bastards.

Meanwhile, opposition parties will seize the opportunity to condemn the Conservative Party and call for its immediate dissolution. Labour leader Keir Starmer will describe the move as “long overdue, as we are the new Tory Party,” while Green Party co leader Carla Denyer will call it “a victory for truth and justice.”

As the political fallout unfolds, one thing is clear: the Conservative Party may have thought they were above the law, but now they will find themselves on the wrong side of history. Whether they can salvage their reputation and redeem themselves in the eyes of the public remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: the days of unchecked power are over, and accountability has finally come knocking at their door.
