The Dorchester Tennis and Squash Club will be hosting an Open Day on Sunday 14th May 2017 at Sawmills Lane, Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester DT1 2RZ.  The event will start at 10am until 2pm and is welcoming people of all abilities and all ages, or just those who are inquisitive about the club.

Visitors will be invited to try out squash, racketball and tennis with coaches on hand to give guidance and tips.  Weymouth Massage will also be in attendance to provide free 5 minute consultations and 15 minute sessions.

There will be refreshments on hand during the day with coffee, tea and cakes and a BBQ from midday.The club bar will also be open. There will befree entrance to all courts and activities includinga ‘Guess the number of balls’ competition and a chance to win free membershipuntil end of March 2018.

During the event visitors will get a chance to chat to members about what the club offers – like the internal leagues, playing for teams and the social events that are run as well as annual and other regular tournaments. 

Club Chairman, Neil Foster said “The day also allows visitors to see the recently refurbished club, the newly upgraded squash courts and other improved facilities. We are also considering the resurfacing of the tennis courts which is a big step so watch this space! It’s an ideal time to become part of our friendly club as we look to ensure we are providing what our members require in order for them to enjoy their experience as a user.”

 

Free car parking is available on site and it is recommended but not essential, for visitors towear some sort of sports clothing and non-marking trainers if possible.
