Hank Wangford and the Lost Cowboys (Bridport Arts Centre, South Street, Bridport DT6 3NR): It’s Hat Festival time in Bridport and Hank Wangford, a patron of the Festival, opens the festivities here. Backed by the stellar Lost Cowboys (featuring BJ Cole on pedal steel, Richard Allen on guitar and vocalist Anna Robinson), Hank will be presenting a shifting panorama of headwear and country music, heartbreakers and toe tappers. Join the varyingly-bonneted High Priest of Pain for a traditional Dorset ‘Glimpse of Gloom’ and sing along to the Bridport Hat Festival Waltz.
