Healthwatch Dorset, are holding a free interactive family art event, in association with the Arts University Bournemouth, to explore what people think of local health & care services.
Health and care consumer champions, Healthwatch Dorset, have worked with Creative Events Management Students at the Arts University Bournemouth to produce ‘Your Say, Your Way’ – afun, creative day of workshops and activities. Taking place during half term week, the day has been created for children age 5+ and their parents.
‘Your Say, Your Way’ will be hosted at Creative Kids Art Education Charity in Sovereign Shopping Centre in Boscombe on Saturday 20th February 2016 10-4pm. The event is aimed at encouraging children to explore their creative minds with Healthwatch Dorset, the independent local watchdog for health and care services.
Emilia Chase, Healthwatch Dorsets young peoples engagement officer, explains:
“Through fun activities art & puppet workshops, films & photos, goody bags and much more, we hope this will provide children and their families or carers with the opportunity to get creative and have a fun day out.
The day will be filled with creation stations so bring your children along and let them explore creative ways to tell us how they feel about health, care and wellbeing. Help us to make positive changes to children’s services in a fun and interactive way!”
