It’s eyes to the skies as the town comes alive for the 2014 Bournemouth Air Festival, but a leading recruitment agency is putting out an urgent call for anyone who would like to get paid to be involved.

As Bournemouth prepares to welcome around 1.3 million visitors to the festival, additional resources need to be put into place to keep the seafront and town centre areas clean and tidy, and to provide ancillary support services to all air festival activities.

Simon Thomas, Director at City Centre Recruitment says at least fifty people are required to cope with the additional workload, commenting, “The Bournemouth Air Festival is now a worldwide attraction, and really showcases the town. It’s a mammoth task to ensure that the seafront and town centre areas are kept litter free, and clean and tidy. Also, all hotels, restaurants, kiosks and outlets need additional staff to cope with the influx and ensure they maintain good standards of customer service.

“It’s actually a great opportunity to be right in the middle of all the excitement and activity, and be paid to be there!”

Jobs for the Air Festival period include seafront toilet cleaners, litter pickers, hospitality staff, kiosk workers and chefs, and are ideal for students or temporary workers.

Anyone interested in earning some money and getting involved in Air Festival support can call City Centre Recruitment on 01202 586930.
