Detectives are issuing a CCTV image of a suspect following a reported burglary at the address of a vulnerable elderly man in Poole.

The incident occurred at an address in Broadstone on Friday 2 November 2018 at around 7.15pm.

It was reported that two men convinced the vulnerable victim aged in his 70s to allow then inside his property. A quantity of cash was reportedly stolen.

While the pair were in the living room they triggered a CCTV motion detector, which recorded a 10 second clip of the incident.

A 22-year-old man from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Michelle Lawrence, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Following extensive enquiries in order to identify the second suspect I am now issuing an image of him in the hope he can be identified.
