The family of a man who sadly died in an incident at Nothe Parade in Weymouth have issued a tribute.

At 12.43pm on Monday 16 April 2018 Dorset Police was informed by the ambulance service of an incident at the Nothe Steps. It was reported that a boat had fallen onto a man.

Tragically Kevin Keeler, aged 56, from Weymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family said in a statement: “Our dad is a man who can bring a smile to anyone’s face, we will cherish our memories together in our hearts and continue to make him proud of who we become.

“We love you so much daddy, we all miss you.”

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains ongoing.
