Historically, the far right has been known to hate both Jews and Muslims, so it must have been a spontaneous combustion moment when they had to choose following the Israeli genocidal attack on Gaza. However, choose they did, and given that Netanyahu and his apartheid terrorists are being accused of aping the Nazis, their choice suddenly became much easier. “Nazis, you say?”. Sign us up.

As we can see from below, they have gone full-on. Never mind the antisemitism bit, as they have been the perpetrators of hate against Jews for decades. It gives them an opportunity to be allowed into the bed of those they have terrorised, as a political strategy to attack Muslims and those on the left who have long called for equality and decency. Two characteristics that the far right despise.

And for those who believe the far right are no longer ‘jew haters’ and antisemitic:

Far-Right Racism Against Jews in the UK: A Disturbing Resurgence

The United Kingdom has a long and complex history of multiculturalism, diversity, and tolerance. However, in recent years, there has been a disturbing resurgence of far-right ideologies, often accompanied by an increase in racism and xenophobia. Among the targeted communities, Jews have faced a notable rise in discrimination, creating an alarming trend that demands careful examination.

Historical Context:

The roots of anti-Semitism in the UK can be traced back centuries, with sporadic outbreaks of violence and discrimination against Jews. However, in the post-World War II era, the UK had made significant strides in fostering a more inclusive society. Unfortunately, the far-right resurgence in recent years has undermined these efforts, leading to an upswing in anti-Semitic sentiment.

Far-Right Ideologies:

Far-right movements in the UK often espouse nationalist ideologies that emphasise the exclusion of certain ethnic and religious groups. These ideologies may manifest in various forms, such as white supremacy, xenophobia, and anti-Semitism. The far-right groups propagate conspiracy theories, often revolving around false notions of Jewish influence and control.

Social Media and Online Radicalisation:

The digital age has provided a platform for the rapid dissemination of extremist ideologies. Social media platforms have played a significant role in the radicalisation of individuals who might otherwise have remained on the fringes of society. Online spaces become breeding grounds for hate speech, where anti-Semitic conspiracy theories are disseminated widely, contributing to the normalisation of discriminatory attitudes.

Political Climate:

The political landscape can also influence the rise of far-right ideologies. Populist movements, fuelled by economic anxieties, political instability, and anti-establishment sentiments, have created an environment where extremist views can thrive. Some far-right political figures exploit these sentiments to gain support, further normalising discriminatory beliefs.

Incidents and Hate Crimes:

The rise in far-right ideologies has been accompanied by a noticeable increase in hate crimes against the Jewish community in the UK. Synagogues, Jewish schools, and community centres have been targetted, leading to a heightened sense of vulnerability among Jewish individuals. Public incidents, such as verbal abuse and physical assaults, have further fuelled concerns about the safety of the Jewish population.

Countering Far-Right Racism:

Addressing the resurgence of far-right racism against Jews requires a multi-faceted approach. Education is crucial in fostering understanding and tolerance and debunking myths and stereotypes that fuel anti-Semitism. Law enforcement agencies must prioritise the investigation and prosecution of hate crimes to send a clear message that discrimination will not be tolerated.

Additionally, political leaders and public figures must actively denounce and counter far-right ideologies, promoting a culture of inclusivity and diversity. Collaboration between communities, organisations, and governments is essential to creating a united front against all forms of racism and discrimination.

The resurgence of far-right racism against Jews in the UK is a deeply concerning phenomenon that demands urgent attention. By understanding the historical context, addressing online radicalisation, and promoting education and inclusivity, society can work towards creating an environment that rejects discrimination and upholds the values of tolerance and diversity. It is essential for the UK to stand united against the forces of hatred, ensuring that the rights and safety of all its citizens, regardless of their background, are protected.

The message is loud and clear. Do not be fooled. The far right have their enemies under the same duvet and will pounce at any moment.
