This isn’t some left-wing journalist – The Telegraph is, of course, a Tory-supporting newspaper.
ALL the evidence was there. The long history of lies, the sackings over the lies, the court cases over the lies, the political failures, the Mayoral waste-of-money failed projects, the embarrassments (including when Foreign Secretary), the class A drug use, the conspiring to have a journalist beaten up, the disgustingly racist book he wrote, the numerous affairs, abortions and children he won’t acknowledge, the sickening burning of £50 notes in front of homeless people and the acts of arson committed when part of Eton’s privileged Bullingdon Club, the previous bosses who warned of his complete unsuitability and that his becoming PM would be dangerous…. and the racism, sexism and homophobia.
And then, during the Election campaign, there was the blatant lies, the pathetic, cowardly avoidance of Debates and of an Andrew Neil interview and the hiding in a fucking fridge!
THE ONLY REASON THIS DANGEROUS, LYING, RACIST, PRIVILEGED TOSSER IS PRIME MINISTER IS BECAUSE THE BILLIONAIRES WHO OWN THE MEDIA WANTED HIM TO BE!
But people chose to ignore the evidence because:
1. He promised a meaningless three-word soundbite (‘Get Brexit Done’) devised by the eugenics-advocating, dangerous nutcase that ran the Leave campaign and is now his Chief Advisor (and hirer of more racist eugenicists) Dominic Cummings.
2. The Billionaire media owners told and convinced people to (as well as convincing people that the opposition leader was unelectable through a campaign of constant lies).
3. Because, IMO, a significant proportion of the country support racist and anti-immigrant viewpoints, having been ‘taught’ to do so over decades of media lies and the influence of Far Right Nazis and ‘hate entrepreneurs!’
The thing is, lying about all manner of things,. being incompetent and being/playing a buffoon is all well and good when it’s about policies and Brexit. That was just going to be seriously bad for our economy (as EVERY economic study including the government’s, determined).
But now…. now it’s going to cost lives. An awful lot of lives.
