Another off-shoot of South East Dorset Green Party was formed in early December when members and supporters living in Poole had a very positive introductory meeting to discuss the future of the party in their area.
This follows the successful launch of Purbeck Green Party this autumn and Christchurch Green Party last month.
Items discussed included standing a Parliamentary candidate in the general election next May, as well as fielding candidates for the local council. A further meeting is planned to develop fundraising ideas and raising awareness of the Green Party among local residents.
