Spring Equinox

A new venture this year for South East Dorset Green Party was the Springtime Fundraising Music Event at the wonderful Chaplin’s and the Cellar Bar in Boscombe, Bournemouth, on Saturday 21st March. The sun shone, and many hundreds of people from our local communities turned up to support the event.

During the day the garden bar served a range of ales and ciders, as part of the Chaplin’s Spring Equinox Beer Festival, and music was provided by acoustic acts including Kimari Raven, Annie Winter, Elliot Bradley, Walkiria Bass, Graham Kendrick, Steven Thomas, Jodie Wilkins, and Miss Summer & Djembe Jim. Art and poetry featured alongside the musical items.

In the evening the jam-packed headline act was Pachango! with support from bands including Jack Grace Band and Dreamcatcher.  Our thanks to the staff at Chaplin’s, all the performers, Andy Razz who ran the sound system, the keen Green Party volunteers, and of course Alasdair for organising a brilliant event!
