Do you live on the South Dorset Ridgeway and love poetry? Would you like to explore your relationship with the landscape of this outstanding area of beauty, history and heritage? Look at it and listen to it in new ways?

Artsreach are looking for people who are interested in creating poems inspired by the South Dorset Ridgeway to take part in an exciting new writing project, led by Greta Stoddart and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Through a series of 4 Saturday or Sunday workshops* taking place at various venues within the Ridgeway, participants will explore – both literally and metaphorically – the landscape of this inspiring area. The Saturday workshops are intended for those relatively new to writing poetry while the Sundays are for the more experienced.

Spaces within the groups are limited so to apply for a place, please send 2 of your poems to Artsreach at the address below,or by email to [email protected], by Monday 13 April.

Please include a brief paragraph about your interest in the South Dorset Ridgeway and your name, address, telephone number or email address.
