Halloween Horror film on the way from local filmmakers!

Three years in the making, the latest British home-grown horror film is about to hit our screens – and it was produced right here in Dorset and the New Forest.

The spine chilling trailer for ‘Territory’ is due to be unleashed on Halloween, October 31st – with the full feature length film coming out in 2013.

Four cars lie stranded on a dark and misty country road in the middle of the night – the aftermath of a treacherous collision. Tensions run high as the survivors struggle to resolve the situation, but they soon realise that the worst is far from over…

Tired, cold and miles away from the nearest town, the true danger begins to dawn on them as they find themselves being picked off by a group of demonic creatures, enragedby the arrival of humans in their murky territory.

This British horror film is written, produced and directed by local film graduates Thomas Saville and Robert Vassie. It’s a self financed, low budget production using creature puppets carefully crafted by one of theUK’s most talented model makers. Tom claims that no matter how good visual effects are, they can never beat the real thing and audiences are more likely to feel scared and buy into the experience when you physically have a monster clawing at someone’s flesh. Rob added with an almost evil grin, “We got through a lot of fake blood whilst shooting this film!”

It stars a mix of local and national acting talent – Sylvie England, Karen Morgan, Dave Taylor, Eifion Melnyk-Jones, William Ashbey, Victoria Eldon, Charlotte Eldon, Steve Smith, Sharon Muiruri and Jon Samuel.

The first official Teaser Trailer for Territory will go online the same day the official website is launched: on October 31st
