The betrayal goes on. The young look for something new and refreshing whereas too many old people just want more of the same. Debt and fake news is their diet.
Not all the older people are responsible and not all the young are blameless. However by and large those who will inherit the world will have to wait for the conservative self interested cronies to kick it first.A truly stunning age divide:
57% of 18-24-year-olds voted Labour, only 18% of over-65s did.
More males voted Eton toff than females and every social class identified voted Tory far right policies over a more fairer and progressive society. Brexit, the corporate media and fake news played a massive part but whatever the cause the voters must own their vote and take responsibility for what happens now.
