The first month of the New Year is almost over, but it is not too late to start a new year’s resolution for 2020. By signing up to car share not only will you be saving on average £1,000 per year, but you will be helping Dorset Council tackle the Climate Change and Ecological Emergency by reducing your COemissions.

Cllr Ray Bryan, Dorset Council Portfolio holder for Highways, Travel and Environment, said: “I encourage those who can to car share. By doing so you will be helping us in tackling the climate and ecological emergency. It’s also a fantastic way to get to know your colleagues and neighbours even better!”

Fancy signing up but need to get your car cleaned first? We have you covered! We are offering a free valet service to one lucky winner. A winner will be selected from random and contacted by 13 March 2020. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is sign up by the end of February 2020 and find a car share match!

Signing up is easy, all you need to do is head to https://liftshare.com/uk/community/dorset add your journey and find your match. It really is that easy. If you’re already a member but don’t have a Liftshare group, you can log back into your account, review your matches and find someone new going your way.
