Colour, music and dance. Well maybe not so much of the dance, but the atmosphere at Tuesday nights game between the mighty Dolphins and their Southern League counterparts Paulton Rovers was a new experience as the Red and White Army (RWA) were joined by the Zambezi Express, who are performing at the Pier Theatre Bournemouth until September 15th.

If there was Jungle fever off the pitch both sets of players on it played like they had a bout of the flu. The highlight of the action on the pitch came on 53 minutes, when Luke Burbidge SPANKED one on past the hapless Rovers keeper, “OLE OLE OLE OLE! POOLE TOWN! POOLE TOWN!” roared the RWA and their Zimbabwean friends. Drums pounding, fans singing, this was better than the F.A cup final. This was Fortress Tatnam. Poole Town eventually ran out 1-0 winners to take them to the top of the Southern League South West 1. The night though belonged to the RWA and the Zambezi Express.
