Let’s start with a clear understanding. I have absolutely no time for Katie Hopkins. She sank her boat years ago with her personal attacks and bigotry. However, people cannot be wrong all of the time and that is an important consideration. In this instance, although the end of GB News should be celebrated, it does not mean that she is wrong. Powerful players are engaging and many do not have our interests at heart. Their interests are their own, and maintaining the status quo is their raison d’être. Keeping us down and ‘in our place’ is the ticket they pass on from generation to generation.
Here, I consider Hopkins, in many places, to be repeating the mantra that many on the left say every day. However, where she diverges is that she blames the left for trying to silence the bigots. Well, she would, wouldn’t she.
Have a listen, with an open mind as one can manage and it will become extremely obvious which bits we find ourselves nodding along with and the bits where we roll our eyes.
Her words do seem to become poignant when viewing long term Sky News propagator of Murdoch propaganda Adam Boulton:

What we need are many non establishment fact based televisual and audio media in the mainstream, that enlighten us and embraces real democracy. This is nowhere near what we currently have and GB News is part of the problem.
