Laurence Fox, the actor-turned-political activist and leader of the Reclaim Party, has been apprehended on suspicion of involvement in a conspiracy to vandalize ULEZ cameras. Earlier today, Fox shared a video on social media where he informed the public that the police were conducting a search of his residence.

At approximately 10:45 am, the Reclaim Party posted an update on X (formerly known as Twitter), announcing, “Live now @LozzaFox is having his house searched by the police.” This post included a video featuring Fox sitting on his sofa, addressing the camera with police officers seemingly in the vicinity.

In the brief video, Fox remarked, “Look at the number of police officers surrounding my house.” Another video, also shared on X, showcased Fox at his home expressing criticism of what he referred to as the development of a “surveillance state.”

In an official statement, a spokesperson for the police explained, “On Wednesday, October 4th, officers arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras and encouraging or assisting in the commission of offenses. He was arrested in Stockwell and is currently in custody at a south London police station.”
